So we have to follow the below steps to register .net framework in iis :-

aspnet_regiis.exe -ir

Step 1: Click on start button and type cmd in search programs and files text box. Now right click on cmd program and select Run As Administrator option.

Step 3: Now register asp.net version 4.0
